VBrick Hardware
MPEG Encoders and Decoders
VBricks are a family of compact MPEG Video Network
appliances, all of which are interoperable with each other. VBricks are
available for Ethernet IP, ATM, T1/E1, Microwave, and Satellite Networks.
All VBricks support advanced features such as Infra
Red Remote control, RS232 data pass-through for the control of remote
cameras or other devices, IP Multicasting (Ethernet only), and compliance
with open standards for MPEG and data networks.
1000 Series Encoder
The 1000 Series are MPEG Encoders that stream
live video to other VBricks, StreamPlayer Clients, Media Player clients
or other MPEG Players and Servers.

2000 Series Decoder
The 2000 Series are MPEG Decoders that receive

3000 Series Encoder/Decoder
The 3000 Series are full duplex MPEG Encoder/Decoders
that combine the functions of the 1000 and 2000 Series in a single high
performance package. The 3000 Series will function as full duplex Encoder/Decoders
for use in Video Conferencing applications.

AudioMate
AudioMate is a wideband state of the art
desktop conference microphone that provides intelligent voice tracking,
reverberation reduction, noise reduction, and echo cancellation. AudioMate
is a self contained unit that connects directly to the VBrick or up to
three AudioMates can be "daisy chained". Features include automatic
voice tracking, built in mute button, and LEDs to indicate directional
voice activity/mute status. Each unit can be installed without the need
for calibration.

Camera Mounting

VBrick Camera Motor
This unit is a self contained rugged Camera
Pan/Tilt motor that connects directly to the Serial port on the VBrick
to enable full control of the camera across the network. The VBrick Camera
Motor can be controlled by a control station that utilises the Serial
Data Pass-through function of the receiving VBrick, or users can have
full control from the desktop. (The controller comes with free Active-X
controls for your web browser as well as a stand alone application for
Windows desktops.)
The Controller offers a maximum control speed of 240
degrees per second, and a pan range of just under 180 degrees. (Field
of view is camera dependent) Tilt range varies from 120-180 degrees depending
on camera size and optics. The standard version supports up to 1.5 lbs
(650g) and the heavy duty version supports up to 4.5lbs (2.0 kg). An external
control port for motorised zoom, focus and iris control is included.

CCD Camera
This CCD camera is provides high horizontal
resolution (450 TV Lines) in a highly compact unit. This camera has an
electronic iris and zoom lens which makes it an ideal companion for the
VBrick Camera Motor. Each unit includes power supply and adapter.
