Intelligent Media Converter™ 7500 Series
The Intelligent Media Converter™ 7500 Series features three modular chassis options that give you the flexibility to mix and match twisters and redundant twisters to meet critical network uptime requirements. Advanced Monitoring and Management features built into each module allow cost effective at your own pace migration to proactive management. The Optional management module includes WebBeacon™ for web based management via a standard Web Browser. The management module also allows for remote SNMP Management by using NetBeacon™ software or any other SNMP management software. The 12 slot and 17 slot 7500 Series chassis can be rack mounted.

Intelligent Media Converter™ 7500 Series Micro Chassis
The Intelligent 7500 Micro Chassis offers modular connectivity to accommodate either a single connection and management or two unmanaged connections. The Intelligent 7500 Micro Chassis is the ideal solution for applications which require a single line of managed fiber optic connectivity at a remote site. Using the Micro Chassis, companies, especially those delivering high-speed Internet access, can simplify their network configuration by providing managed end-to-end seamless integration from a central office to the remote site. When configured with the extended long haul "twister" module, users can achieve distances up to 200km. The unit provides an additional port for Lancast's unique management module to enable any standard SNMP management software or Lancast's NetBeacon software.

Unmanaged Chassis Based Solutions

Lancast Twister™ 7000 Series Unmanaged Chassis
The 7000 Series chassis support multiple media types at different speeds in a single cost effective chassis. All Twister™ and Redundant Twister™ Modules can be "hot swapped" as you mixed media grows in size and bandwidth. The 6 slot chassis can be discreetly wall or shelf mounted and the 12 slot chassis is perfect for rackmounting.

10 Mbps Solutions

Twister™ 7111
The 7111 Series provide modular solutions for integrating Thin net, Twisted Pair, and Singlemode or Multimode fibre in a single LAN. All signal activity is reliably converted, ensuring accurate communication and collision detection in connected segments. Other supported features are Link Loss Carry Forward (LLCF), half and full duplex operation, MDII/MDIX selection on all RJ45 ports, and lifetime warranty.The 7111 Series have the same features as the 2111 Series of stand alone converters, but are designed for use in the highly flexible 7000 and 7500 Chassis.The 7111-XX-75 Modules are specifically for the 7500 Managed Chassis, Modules are SNMP Manageable to allow for e-mail notification of traps and alarms.

100Mbps Solutions

Twister™ 7131
The 7131 Series offer transparent integration of 100 Mbps Copper and Fibre in a single Fast Ethernet Network. Features include full signal restoration, low bit delay with full clock recovery and retiming of converted data to ensure maximum cable length. Link Loss Carry Forward (LLCF) enables quick response and maximum up time in the event of physical link failure.The 7131 Series have the same features as the 2131 Series of stand alone converters, but are designed for use in the highly flexible 7000 and 7500 Chassis. The 7131-XX-75 Modules are specifically for the 7500 Managed Chassis, Modules are SNMP Manageable to allow for e-mail notification of traps and alarms. For stand alone options see the 2131 Series.

10/100 Solutions

AutoTwister 7641
The Lancast AutoTwister supports a variety of configuration options that enable users to go beyond copper based network distances, convert half to full duplex, 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps as well as convert Copper to Fibre in mixed media environments. Link Loss Carry Forward (LLCF) provides notification to a management station in the event of lost connection. The 7641 Series Modules are a managed module for the Intelligent Media Converter 7500 Series, The AutoTwister can be monitored and managed through NetBeacon software or any SNMP Manager. 100 Mbps Redundancy Solutions

Redundant Twister™7700
The Lancast redundant Twister provides physical link redundancy that can be either for Dynamic Recovery Mode for mission critical applications, or Network Select mode for link isolation and traffic redirection. A 50 nanosecond maximum switch over time ensures faster network recovery than Spanning Tree. All Redundant Twisters are transparent to Spanning Tree and other Protocols for the control of data in a network.The Lancast 7700 Redundant Twister Modules are available for both the 7000 and 7500 Chassis, with the same features and benefits as the 2700 Series standalone. The TX/redundant TX converters occupy a single slot and the TX/redundant FX converters need two adjacent slots. For stand alone options see the 2700 series.

Gigabit Solutions

Mode Converters 7151
The Lancast 7151 Mode converters provide seamless integration between Multimode and Singlemode fibre at Gigabit speeds. This allows for connectivity between low cost SX Multimode ports across longer distances that are supported by Singlemode fibre. All Gigabit mode converters support Link Loss Return (LLR) and Link Loss Carry Forward.   (LLCF)The 7151 Gigabit mode converters are a manageable module that is available exclusively for the Intelligent Media Converter 7500 Chassis. The 7151 modules can be monitored and managed via Lancast's NetBeacon Software or any other SNMP manager. For stand alone options see the 2151 series.

ATM/Sonet Solutions

Mode Converters 7125/7135
The Lancast ATM/Sonet Mode Converters enable the cost benefits of Multimode ports to be maximised by the extended distances that are available over Singlemode fibre (up to 40km). Solutions are available for OC-3 (155Mbps) and OC-12 (622Mbps). All ATM/Sonet mode converters support Link Loss Return (LLR) and Link Loss Carry Forward (LLCF).The 7125 and 7135 Mode converters have the same features as the stand alone versions and are designed specifically for the Intelligent Media Converter 7500 Chassis. These modules support Lancast's advanced management features as well as standard SNMP traps and management. For stand alone options see the 2125/2135 Series.
