A400 Series
The A400 Series are a range of high quality, low cost compact serial interface
converters. The A400 can be used as a single unit to connect two devices
with different serial interfaces,eg RS232 to RS422, or the units can be
used in pairs to overcome limitations with RS232 such as distance, earth
potentials between buildings, and multi-drop applications. All A400 units
have a metal case which makes them ideal for both office and industrial
applications.

A500 Series
The ASeries A510 is an RS-232 Serial to Centronics Parallel or Centronics
Parallel to RS-232 Serial interface converter. Its superior design allows
it to operate with the fastest of computers on the parallel side and with
devices at up to 38,400bps on the serial side.The RS-232 configuration
options include the selection of Software hand-shaking using Robust Xon/Xoff
or Hardware hand-shaking using the DSR/DTR handshake pairs. The A510 is
housed in a quality slim line metal case and uses female connectors at
each end for convenient connection to all types of equipment.

Parallel Data Extenders
A516 Series
The A516 DataMate is a low cost and reliable product
which replaces the standard PC parallel printer cable. Using low cost
4 wire cable, it allows you to place that PC and printer wherever you
like and up to 300 metres apart. One A516 is connected to the parallel
port of your PC and the other to your printer. There are no switches to
set, simply plug in and use. The DataMate is also fully compatible with
the Premises Distribution System (PDS) cabling environment and may be
plugged in directly using a standard PDS patch cable. The DataMate transfers
data at 460,000 bits per second, this is at least four times faster than
many other look-alike devices. Graphics data can be reliably sent at distances
up to 300 metres, much longer distances are possible depending on site
conditions.

X21, V35, V24 Interface
Converters
A600 Series:
The A600 Series interface converters provide bidirectional conversion
between X21, V35, and V24 interfaces. These units can be used for connecting
devices with different interfaces eg V35 router to X21 NTU, or the extra
distance and lower cost of X21 can be used to connect a pair of V35 devices.
